I recently completed six months of golf lessons with Scratch Golf and found that the instruction and feedback from the instructors was excellent. I had the pleasure of working with ustin, Doug and Karen over the past few months and the quality of teaching was excellent. I was given golf tips as well as drills to work different golf skills. One day it would be putting and chipping, another day short irons and pitching and other days the power game and fitness. With lessons lasting 75 minutes I was able to work on multiple facets of my game in one lesson. Having one lesson per week allowed me to work on the parts that were addressed at the last session during the week and then review my results with my instructor the next week. Seeing myself on the swing video I was able to understand better what needed to be changed with my swing. I found the teachers very knowledgeable, friendly and very interested in helping me become a better golfer. I also had good discussions on the mental part of the game, pre shot routines, good practice habits and course management. I would highly recommend Scratch Golf to anyone who is interested in learning more about the golf swing and improving their own golf game.

With just 3 lessons at Scratch my game has improved by 50%. I highly recommend their lessons to anybody struggling to break one hundred!

I didn't even think I would need lessons, but this has been tremendous for me.  My scores were 100-110 and now I’m consistently under 90.  The best part is that I felt it and I deserved it.  I feel like I am finally actually playing the game.

Time at Scratch has helped me a lot. Now I have lower scores and am playing better golf. I can play better in tournaments and rounds against my brother. When I got my Level 3 hat I was very happy because I gained a level.

Our group consisted of players ranging in ability from "never touched a club" to "shoot about 85." The instructors were able to help everyone, easily recognizing the ability of each player. The lessons were well organized and the demonstrations superb. A very good mix of instruction and time for practice.

Learning to perfect the mechanics of my swing was extremely helpful and I will definitely employ what I learned in the future.

My putting has improved tremendously. The stick with the corresponding colors transformed my short game by cutting down some strokes. I learned equidistant putting.

I'm definitely a beginner and Scratch has helped me improve massively through exercises and facilities that get a lot of practice very quickly. My long-game was appalling, but I have seen marked improvement from the simulators.

Learning chipping has been the best experience.

Scratch has allowed me to hone my skills and focus on specific parts of my stroke. I truly enjoyed the virtual golf course and the chipping range. The few days I've been here have really made a difference.

I really like the help and support from the pros. Their aid has really helped me improve my game. I now enjoy golf and can actually play.

My favorite part about being at Scratch was being able to use the simulators. It was really cool to try them because I had only seen them used before on T.V.

I have enjoyed using the simulators because they helped my swing from the first time I started golf. The instructors are very helpful and the best takeaway is learning how to do a proper swing.

It's a great facility. The teachers here are good and helpful. The most useful thing I've learned is for putting, make the swing equal on both sides. Also, the bracelets are really stylish.

The simulator was a fun experience and I have become a better chipper.

I really enjoyed the putting lessons that we had. Previously, putting was easily the weakest part of my game, but after getting advice from the pros I feel like I've improved a lot.

I have really enjoyed working in the simulator and getting some really great instruction from the teacher. I feel like I leave Scratch better than I was when I arrived every time!

The pros have been great and have really helped me improve my swing, technique, and overall golf game. One of the coolest things is the simulator.

My favorite part about coming to Scratch is the overall improvement I experience in my game after such a short time. I also enjoy the simulators and think that they really help my swing while being very cool.

Parents

Scratch is like a home to my son. Everyone is so friendly and working diligently to help him improve his skills. He feels so comfortable being there and never wants to leave even when he is done his session.  Scratch instructors are very supportive and making lessons so much fun yet pushing juniors over their limits while they still enjoy the lessons without any pressure. I see many future PGA/LPGA players here!

Scratch helped my son in many ways. He has improved his swing skills as well as short game skills. However, the most important thing of all is that he has come to enjoy the beauty of the sport more than ever.

Ryder had so much fun, and I couldn't be happier to be part of the family. You guys have a terrific facility, and the vibe simply couldn't have been more welcoming or friendly. My son talked about putting the whole way home!

Ladies Learn to Play Members

I just wanted to say thank you so much for the clinic you put together for my girlfriends and I.  As you were able to assess last night, this is a group of absolute beginners and we have a loooooong way to go.  The ladies really liked Scratch, Karen, Doug, and the non-intimidating environment.  They are all fired up to go hit the course, but agreed that we need to come back for another clinic.  This group tries to get together for a golf “something” once a month.  Last night, a few ladies were saying “maybe we could alternate, do a round on the course one month, then head back to Scratch the next month.” Karen and Doug were great at starting from the absolute beginning and walking our group through the basics.  We’ll be out on the course in the next month reminding each other to “throw the basket”, “shut the car door”,  “start with P-G-A”, and “turn the girls away, turn the girls towards.”  Ha-ha!  Now our group will all have a common, valid reference in the form of “Karen said….” and “Remember how Doug showed us…”  It’s going to help all of us help each other. Going to a regular driving range is nice, but at Scratch we can actually see ball spin, loft, direction, and distance for several shots at once.  And that’s a huge help! So thank you!  And we’ll be back soon!

Scratch has provided me with a learning environment that is safe, fun and most of all encouraging. The curriculum offered at Scratch is unmatched and there is not another golf instruction facility like it in the Santa Clarita Valley. We enjoy our Tuesday night ladies golf! Karen is fun, attentive, and personable. It is a spectacular night for all who come.

Karen is an amazing instructor!  She makes golf easy to understand and so much fun.  I really enjoy her class and being with the other ladies on Tuesday evenings - it brightens my day!
