
Soroptimist means “best for women” and our goal is to provide an outstanding golf training program for six months that will improve the life of young women by accelerating and improving their golf skills and equipping her with the physical, mental and social skills to compete for a college golf scholarship. The criteria for applying for the scholarships will include academic achievement, character, financial need and involvement in golf.
238 Division- 1 programs and 135 Division- 2 programs (offer the greatest amount of golf scholarships)

For Girls Golf, per year D-1 schools have 6 full scholarships compared to 4.5 for Men’s programs. D-2 has 5.4, compared to 3.6 for Men’s. NAIA has 5 scholarships, NJCAA has 8. D-3 does not offer athletic scholarships, but does offer other forms of financial aid for golfers.
Of the 1,800 golf scholarship opportunities for Girls, 200 are not taken advantage of. This means there is a clear opportunity for Girls to achieve athletic scholarships through the game of golf.

D-1: Low end 66, high end 80
D-2: Low end 70, high end 88
D-3/NAIA: Low end 75, high end 92
NJCAA: Low end 68, high end 95
