Juniors (Age 7 – 18)
- After school and/or weekend program
- Most programs run for three months and coincide with the four seasons.
- Juniors come once, twice or three times per week, and each session is 75 minutes. Can combine an after school session with a weekend session.
- The instruction is more similar to how one learns and improves in soccer, baseball, basketball or football – learn important drills, practice those drills and then scrimmage. (click here to see curriculum)
- Basic golf lessons are incorporated into the session.
- Drills are learned and practiced in all four facets of golf: swing, short game, putting and fitness. Each area has a large workout/practice station ( learn more about the stations)
- Objective data is captured in every session in the proprietary Scratch Skills Handicap System (click here to read more about SSHS)
- Instruction on the full swing is in simulators where video is used, and important data is captured each session for the student (read more about the effectiveness of teaching on simulators)
- Juniors can participate on teams on the weekends
- Our juniors are placed into one of the 10 levels based on their ability, and then once meeting the requirements of that level, graduate and move to the next level (learn more about the Hats program)
- Clubs are available if needed
- Beginners to top high school players are members
Little Linksters (Age 4 – 6)
- After school, during the week day or weekend programs
- Expose the little ones to the game of golf in a controlled environment
- Sessions are 60 minutes and one parent participates with each child
- The kids learn the basics of putting, chipping, swing and fitness
