High School Player Advancement Program
We would like to personally invite you to our high school training program. W want you to take this opportunity to continue learning and growing in the game of golf.
A high priority for Scratch is to augment our existing programs with exciting and effective options to maximize student performance. This advanced training program has been custom designed to give you every advantage to excel next season.
The program is based largely upon previous successes in working with regional and nationally ranked juniors and will provide all the benefits that you will need to improve.
Key Components of the Program
- Intensified short game work to focus on scoring.
- Course management to help stay away from the big score on a hole.
- Shot making – in tournament settings, you will need to be able to control ball flight and shape the ball as needed. As such, we will teach our students how to keep the ball low, hit a draw on command, or a fade on command.
- Focus on the mental side of golf.
- Homework activities – in order to maximize the training, there needs to be effective practice outside of scratch using the drills you become exposed to.
- On-course instruction at Robinson Ranch (dates and times TBD).
- You will become a Scratch member and have the ability to receive scoring data through the SSHS system. This is the online profile that your swing videos, drill videos, data collected are kept for your viewing.
Program Details
- Three areas of instruction; 30 minutes in each. Full Swings, short game, golf specific fitness.
- You can register for either the Tuesday evening or Saturday morning sessions. This is an 8 week program and if you need to miss a day one week, you can make it up by coming twice another week.
- Cost is $299 for the entire 8 weeks, prorated that’s $37 for each 90 minutes of instruction, plus the ability to receive the SSHS data, swing analysis and the drill video library.
